Summary

This role is responsible for the overall leadership of PTI’s quality assurance / quality control programs, laboratory, and team comprised of 5 quality control engineers and technicians. You will lead PTI’s Quality Department and interface with clients ensuring highest levels of quality, conformance and service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain a quality assurance program ensuring compliance with medical, military and GMP specifications
Manage and mentor 5 QA/QC department personnel and be responsible for their continuing education and development
Direct inspection activities, test procedures, and utilization of test equipment
Work closely with manufacturing and engineering personnel in product development and delivery
Deal effectively with government inspections and customer quality representatives
Ensure conformance to government packaging, labeling and documentation
This management role will be a member of the Executive Management Committee

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, engineering degree a plus
Minimum seven years experience in a Quality Management role, preferably in a regulated (ISO, FDA, GMP) manufacturing environment
Extensive experience with QA/QC test equipment (ASTM, CMM, gaging, comparators) Position will oversee QA and QC functions
Previous experience with plastic injection molding, rheology or metallography needed. Metal injection molding (MIM) a big plus

Sales Engineer

Summary

We have an immediate need for a Sales Engineer, reporting directly to the President. In this newly created role you will be the main point of contact for existing and prospective clients. You will be responsible for lifecycle cycle customer support on technical and contractual levels from generating quotations to cost analysis following a production run.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Technical research, calculating bill of materials and production throughput, servicing the technical needs of our customers will all be within your purview. You will need to compile all pertinent data for calculating quotes ensuring all data is received from clients, vendors, suppliers, Engineering and Purchasing. Provide program and delivery schedule updates throughout the program. Own the CRM system to record and analyze customer data. Support the president in quoting, research, follow ups, and supporting the sales cycle of a technical manufacturing operation in innovative and demanding industries including aerospace and medical.Building and maintaining relationships through social media and industry research.

Qualifications:

* 4 year degree (BS in technical field preferred

* Strong computer and web skills, MS Office Suite

* Experience with use of ERP system

* Background in sales or marketing, manufacturing is a plus
